Changements pour les envois du Canada vers les États-Unis – dès le 29 août 2025

Changes to Shipping from Canada to the United States – Effective August 29, 2025

Starting August 29, 2025, new U.S. customs rules will take effect for imported parcels. The “de minimis” exemption (which allowed shipments under $800 USD to enter duty-free) will be eliminated.

From this date forward, all shipments must be sent with prepaid duties and taxes (DDP). In practice, this means that postal services such as Canada Post will no longer be able to deliver under the “recipient pays on delivery” model. Any parcels sent DDU will be rejected by U.S. Customs.

The new regulations impose either high flat fees or percentage-based tariffs depending on the country of origin. In many cases, these costs far exceed the value of small, low-priced items.

👉 To protect our U.S. customers from these excessive charges, we will temporarily suspend shipping to the United States starting August 22, 2025 (the last safe mailing date before the new rules take effect). This will be effective on our website and on our eBay store.

Our products will remain available in Canada and several other countries. We are closely monitoring the situation and will resume U.S. shipping as soon as a reliable solution is in place.
